I don't know what's happened but I've gotten 505 and 404 errors since early this afternoon.

It worked fine this morning.

This is the message that I got. That is why I was asking. I thought maybe you had tried "adjusting" something or somethin like that. Has this happened before?

No, I didn't do anything. Maybe they're working on the server. Or maybe it's something serious that can't be fixed. I wouldn't know who to go to to tell at the server end anyway. We'll just have to wait and see. The important thing is the guide is here on this site for people to use if there is permanent damage to my site.

Could be. Maybe she decided to take it offline. I E-mailed her yesterday, but no response came.

I found this.

http://ask-leo.com/whats_an_internal_serve...o_i_fix_it.html

But it seems that if it really was a server problem they would have had it sorted out by now. She might have taken it offline.

I miss you guys, too. Guess you'll see me around here more. ...I don't have anyone else to bug.

I don't think the site will be coming back up. It would have been nice to have been notified first. I might have wanted to save some things from the site, or even maybe transfer the site to one of those freebie type forums. That was inconsiderate. Guess I didn't even rate a response to my E-mail to Sadie.

She didn't owe me anything, though, and it was very nice of her to keep the site up for as long as she did. She didn't have to.

I met a lot of very nice people and made some friends on the site. I learned some things from the members. And I got to do a lot of work on my guide. For that I thank her.

You guys may want to think about letting others know that the guide is here on Jan's site if they are in need of it.

Sorry to hear that.
