Belated good afternoon folks - Been busy setting up Mrs WereBo's new Toshiba Satellite L750, after her old one went 'Pfffutt' t'other day (Graphics chip died, leaving a barely legible up screen. Sadly, she didn't bother to back-up to DVD, so she's now having to transfer 40Gb-50Gb via USB-sticks

I have 2 of 'em and have never really had any problem with them. I guess the usb flash drive transfer will prob make dvd backup seem a lot less "inconvenient" the next time. We originally chose A Toshiba 'Satellite' cos, of the various other forums I'm in, Toshiba seems the least to have any problems. Mrs WereBo's old one is approx 5 years old and this is the 1st major breakdown it's had. Luckily, she took out an extended warranty so, after getting her new laptop set up and identical to #1, she'll be sending it back to Toshiba for repairs.
